Selection & Onboarding
Three operators are chosen and matched with one of the Launch Lab’s 2026 companies.

The Quantum Launch Lab is a community-focused business accelerator that creates and launches three new companies every year. We design the business, fund the startup costs, provide the strategy and branding, and partner with a qualified operator from the community who becomes a co-owner and leads the company day-to-day.
Each year, we develop three high-opportunity concepts designed specifically for the Oakland/Macomb market. All Launch Lab businesses are chosen for their simplicity, scalability, and long-term earning potential. Business details are confidential and are shared only with finalists during the interview process.
If selected, you begin as the hands-on operator and earn increasing equity through a structured vesting program, ultimately reaching 49% ownership. Operators also receive a share of monthly net profit. Quantum retains 51% ownership and provides ongoing mentorship, strategy, marketing, and operational support.
Strong candidates demonstrate reliability, leadership, emotional maturity, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage both people and problems effectively. We look for individuals with ambition, integrity, community-mindedness, and the willingness to commit fully to building a successful business.
There is no cost to apply and no financial investment required from operators. Quantum funds the startup and provides the branding, equipment, and business infrastructure. Your contribution is your time, leadership, and full-day operational involvement as the business grows.
